Where to Use the Embrace DH 13' #8/9
This might be the most all-round salmon fly fishing outfit in the range as it is the perfect "in between size". It manages a variety of scenarios, from smaller rivers to large waters without ever giving you the feeling that you are completely outgunned. However, it truly shines when fishing those medium size rivers, which most salmon rivers are. For some steelhead rivers a 13´ #8/9 outfit is a great choice, as well as when fishing for large sea trout.

The rods “mid flex” action curve and medium fast recovery, makes this rod very user friendly and gives a feeling of power and delicacy both whilst casting and fighting fish. This fly rod and reel outfit is matched with a shooting head system, meaning you have a shooting line, followed by our Power Scandi Body and an intermediate tip. This short and well-balanced head is extremely easy to cast, and you will find that Spey casting suddenly isn't that hard. The lines taper suits all anglers and exceeds in all types of Spey casting. The combo is delivered with a tip in a very universal density called intermediate, which is a slow sinking and will get you a long way.
