Tiemco Aero Wing Dry

Tiemco Aero Wing (often sold as TMC Aero Dry Wing) is a buoyant, synthetic winging yarn for dry flies and emergers. 

Material & buoyancy: Hollow polypropylene; specific gravity ~0.68 (lighter than water), so it won’t absorb water and floats exceptionally well. 

Variants:

• Aero Dry Wing (standard) — general wings/posts and even slim bodies. 
• Aero Dry Wing FINE — about half the diameter of similar yarns for tiny flies and delicate parachute posts. 
   
• Typical uses: Parachute posts (e.g., Klinkhåmers), upright wings (comparaduns/spinners), hi-vis posts, and light, buoyant bodies. 
• Handling notes: Comes carded; can be split for micro patterns; kinky texture holds floatant well; available in natural duns/cream/black plus high-vis fluorescents for visibility.
